Eat Coast is a comprehensive restaurant reservation and food reordering online service that allows users to seamlessly locate the nearest restaurants, make reservations, and place food orders.
As a Full Stack Developer, I was responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the platform's core features, ensuring scalability, and delivering a smooth user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developed and optimized RESTful APIs using Node.js and MongoDB to handle reservations, orders, and restaurant locations efficiently.
- Built dynamic, user-friendly interfaces with React.js and Redux Toolkit, ensuring seamless user interaction and state management.
- Integrated location-based services to help users find the nearest restaurants using advanced geolocation techniques.
- Designed and maintained database schemas in MongoDB to support complex relationships and scalable data storage.
- Ensured a responsive, cross-platform design using modern front-end tools and libraries.
- Debugged and resolved both frontend and backend issues, ensuring robust performance and functionality.
- Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to deliver new features on time and improve existing ones.
